Buy a German car, shipped to Oman.
We find the right car in Germany, negotiate the price, handle the paperwork and customs, and ship it to Sohar or Salalah for collection or onward delivery in Muscat, Sohar and Salalah.
Getting your car to Oman
Destination port
Vehicles bound for Oman ship from Bremerhaven or Hamburg to Port of Sohar (or Port of Salalah). We arrange onward delivery or collection from there.
Typical timeline
Once a car is purchased and the export paperwork is filed, sea transit to Oman usually takes around 4-6 weeks. Sourcing beforehand takes a few days to a few weeks depending on the vehicle.
Import requirements
Oman applies its own customs duty, vehicle age limits and conformity rules, and these change from time to time. We confirm the current requirements for your specific vehicle before you commit, so nothing is a surprise at the port.
Every step, handled for you
Sourcing & Price Negotiation
We search dealer and private listings across Germany, verify vehicle history and condition, and negotiate the best price on your behalf before you commit.
Inspection & Test Drive
We arrange an independent pre-purchase inspection and book a personal viewing or test drive with the seller — in person or via a live video walkthrough.
Contracts & Legal Translation
We translate the purchase contract, check for liens and title issues, and make sure the terms protect you before signature.
Export Documentation & Customs
Export registration plates, the ATLAS customs export declaration and the complete export file — contract, declaration and proof of exit — so the car leaves Germany cleanly and arrives with the documents your port asks for.
Shipping & Logistics
We book RoRo or container shipping from Bremerhaven or Hamburg to Jebel Ali, Dammam, Sohar, Doha and other Gulf ports, arrange marine insurance and track the vehicle door to door.

We ship it to your door
RoRo or container shipping to your nearest Gulf port, insured and tracked until it reaches you.
RoRo or container
RoRo means the car is driven onto a dedicated vehicle carrier and secured on a deck — normally the cheaper option, and it sails frequently. A container puts the car inside a sealed box: more protection from weather and handling, room for spare parts, and the option to share the space.
10 to 25 days at sea
Direct sailings from northern Europe to the Gulf generally run 10 to 25 days, depending on the service and whether the vessel transships. We track the vessel and give you the realistic window to your port, not the shortest number a carrier advertises.

Why work with a local partner in Germany
Buying a car from abroad means navigating a language you don't speak, a legal system you don't know, and an export process that punishes small mistakes. We are based in Germany, work with vetted inspection and shipping partners, and manage every step in Arabic, English and German.
- Independent inspection partners across Germany
- Direct relationships with RoRo and container carriers to Gulf ports
- Bilingual contract review, so nothing gets lost in translation
- Handled correctly the first time — German export paperwork leaves no room for error
Common questions
How much does your service cost?
There's no flat fee. Once we understand which services you need — sourcing, inspection, shipping — we send you a tailored offer based on the car and the scope of work.
What paperwork do I receive with the car?
You receive the German purchase contract with a translation, the vehicle's registration document (Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil II), the ATLAS customs export declaration, the bill of lading from the shipping line and the marine insurance certificate. Those are the documents your destination customs authority asks for when the car is cleared. We send scans by email as soon as each one exists, so nothing is waiting on the post, and the originals travel with the vehicle.
How long does the whole process take?
Sourcing usually takes a few days to a few weeks depending on the car. From an agreed purchase to delivery at your port, shipping typically adds another 3–5 weeks.
Can I see the car before I buy it?
Yes. We arrange an independent inspection and either a live video walkthrough or a personal visit and test drive with the seller in Germany.
Which countries do you deliver to?
Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
Is the vehicle insured during shipping?
Yes, we arrange marine insurance covering the vehicle from the German port to arrival at your destination port.
