How much does your service cost?

How does the VAT refund actually work?
Cars bought in Germany include 19% Mehrwertsteuer (VAT). Under §4 No. 1a and §6 of the German VAT Act, a sale can be zero-rated when the car is exported outside the EU — but German dealers are personally liable for that VAT until export is proven, so they collect it upfront as a refundable security deposit rather than granting the discount immediately. To release the deposit, the car needs an export registration plate, a formal export declaration filed through Germany's ATLAS customs system, and confirmation from the border customs office (or, for cars driven out under their own power, the exit customs office) that it has left the EU. We arrange the export plates, file the declaration, and follow up with customs on your behalf, so the deposit is returned to your account once the export is confirmed — usually within a few weeks.
How long does the whole process take?
Sourcing usually takes a few days to a few weeks depending on the car. From an agreed purchase to delivery at your port, shipping typically adds another 3–5 weeks.

Yes. We arrange an independent inspection and either a live video walkthrough or a personal visit and test drive with the seller in Germany.
